He is a passionate entrepreneur and innovator in the food and beverage industry, as well as a seasoned executive with a long-standing international career spanning technology, marketing, and business development.
Together with his wife, Mélanie, he owns LA BOUTIQUE and LE FRIGO, Colorado-based French and European specialty grocery markets offering curated products, artisanal cheeses, and charcuterie. Since early 2022, he has also been a co-founder of Good Veg Foods, a plant-based charcuterie brand dedicated to delivering pleasure-driven and sustainable food experiences. In parallel, he regularly teaches French cuisine at various venues under the name Chef Omar-Pierre, sharing his culinary expertise and French culinary heritage.
Omar-Pierre brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing, product development, and communications, having held multiple director-level and vice-president roles across sales, strategy, innovation, and global brand development. As part of these responsibilities, he was also in charge of high-profile sports marketing partnerships, including Formula 1 and Indycar with McLaren, the National Football League with the Denver Broncos, and Major League Baseball with the Colorado Rockies.
Prior to entering the food and beverage sector, he spent 25 years in the technology industry, where he played a key role in advanced product development and commercialization. He is the holder of 17 international patents related to optics, long-range 3D scanning (LiDAR), and video camera solutions. In 2012, he was a member of the merger and acquisition team that acquired SketchUp, a 3D modeling software, from Google.
Deeply engaged in Franco-American relations, Omar-Pierre was elected President of the French-American Chamber of Commerce, Rocky Mountain Chapter (RMFACC) in November 2011. He served in that role for nearly a decade and has been President Emeritus since January 2021.
During the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, he coordinated press and media relations for Make4Covid, a Colorado-based initiative that supplied personal protective equipment (PPE) to nurses and physicians in 43 rural hospitals, earning national media coverage, including on ABC News.
Omar-Pierre has been based in Westminster, Colorado, since 2005. He lives there with his wife, Mélanie, and their four children: Quentin, Lucas, Gaëtan, and Nathan.
