Pedro Delgado took up his posting as Consul General in October 2024. He was previously Director of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the city of Cusco. Immediately prior to that role, he held the position of Director of Africa in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has occupied different positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and abroad in the embassies of Peru in Greece, Poland, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
Mr. Delgado holds a bachelor’s degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Lima; a master’s degree in International Relations from the Peruvian Diplomatic Academy, and a master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Queensland. He is also author of the book “Stateless, Refugees and Migrants: the right of freedom of movement”, published by the Fondo de Cultura Económica.
